Recently, Consulting Task Force began offering one of
it’s business development programs, Grow Your Business, to business
owners and entrepreneurs anywhere in the world.

Consider This: You are planning to review your business' marketing
and advertising strategies. Until now, your company has scattered
its advertising dollars among several different advertising media.
Your major concern is: how do you get the best return for your
investment?
For most businesses the answer to this question becomes
crystal clear: "it all depends on the mix of marketing methods you
plan to use, whether or not you measure each method's effectiveness
and how your results compare with your plans and projections."
As with most things, advertising and marketing require
planning. Just like any business decision, you should make well
thought out decisions, not spontaneous guesses.
Although marketing and advertising are costs of doing business,
unlike many costs the best part is that these cost can produce new

However, this is usually a penny-wise pound foolish approach.
It's easy to be caught up in the best "package" or "promotion"
offered by an eager advertising sales rep. Perhaps a reason that
feeds your ego is the reason you choose that billboard on a road
seldom traveled by your target audience. Before marketing with any
medium, make sure you have considered the full range of marketing
alternatives.
The best approach is to set specific goals for the future
results you want to achieve. Determine how many leads you need to
generate. Review your records to determine the relationship between
the number of leads generated and the number of sales you achieved
in the past. Then, breakdown advertising costs per sale. Finally,
choose the alternatives that get you the best return on investment.
If you haven't already thought about measuring the results of
your marketing efforts, start by evaluating which types of
advertising have worked best for you in the past. If you have
found a mix of marketing tools which work well, don't be talked
into change for its own sake.
Advertising talks to your clients and prospects when you can't.
So learn what they like, learn how they make decisions and then,
make your advertising speak their language. By planning your
marketing effort for the long haul, you'll reduce the risk of wasted
dollars.
By sticking to what works, you'll see the results in
increased business.

well-thought out marketing decisions, look for professional advice.

By planning and reviewing your plan frequently, you'll stop
working for ad dollars and start those dollars working for you.
